How Our Jewelry is Made
Just a little bit of the process...
Making tree jewelry....
Each tree is individually hand drawn. Every tree, like every human, is uniquely different.
The tree is cut in sterling silver using a very thin blade on a jewelers saw. Another piece of silver is carefully soldered to the back making sure the branches don’t fill in with solder. The piece is then filed and sanded and a ground is added using a grinding tool. The piece is dipped in a patina to get the blackened effect.
Finally, the piece is given a fine sanding and satin finish to remove the patina on the surface while leaving the recesses black.
